Shiba Inu’s team says “nice work” on a $1 math problem with some serious zeroes
Shiba Inu’s official X account revived interest in a $1 SHIB target after praising a fan comparison that described the milestone as “mathematically improbable but NOT IMPOSSIBLE.” The accompanying infographic, however, put Shiba Inu at $0.000012 and 86% below its record, while current price data places the token about 95% below its October 2021 peak. SHIB has not traded as high as $0.000012 at any point in the past year.
The November 2 post came from a commentary account that compared Shiba Inu with Bitcoin, Ethereum, and rival meme coins. It characterized SHIB as a high-beta asset whose price tends to swing harder than the broader market and cautioned that extra zeros after the decimal do not indicate extra upside, with market cap, supply, liquidity, and real demand carrying greater importance. Shiba Inu shared the post on November 3, 2026, and called it “nice work.” 👍 https://t.co/EsroMvjaRw — Shiba Inu (@ShibainuCoin) November 3, 2026 Shiba Inu.
The infographic also used elevated prices for other meme coins. Dogecoin (DOGE) appeared at $0.20 despite trading well below $0.10, while Bonk (BONK), the Solana meme coin that lost its Upbit listing, was shown at $0.000021 despite now trading at a fraction of that amount. Dogecoin Labs, a newly launched organization aiming to support real DOGE usage, has also emphasized the coin’s $1 target.
At Shiba Inu’s current price, a move to $1 would require a roughly 200,000-fold rally. With roughly 589 trillion SHIB tokens in circulation, a $1 price would imply a market capitalization of about $589 trillion, equal to hundreds of times Bitcoin’s current market value. That total represents price multiplied by supply rather than the amount of money buyers would need to provide.
Shiba Inu has recently emphasized both risk controls and broader adoption. In late October, the project urged traders toward caution following a $20 million liquidation wave. It also brought SHIB to Solana in October, a move intended to support demand, which the fan post identified as a decisive factor in determining whether the $1 target can be approached.
