One event, ten tabs: crypto’s tab overload finally gets a tab of its own
A rebuilt crypto app is putting one event across ten tabs after promising users a faster way to follow market-moving developments. The redesign came as the team pledged to show what it was building, framing the feature as a way to turn a two-hour information hunt into a five-minute daily briefing.
The interface takes a single event and presents related coverage across ten tabs. The motivation was illustrated by an example in which ETH drops 6% in an hour, a move that can generate fifteen headlines repeating the same information alongside a hundred tweets from “analysts” reaching opposite conclusions.
Users would otherwise need to move between separate tabs to review the chart, funding, and liquidations. The rebuilt app aims to bring that information together while addressing the central question: “WHAT DO I do with this?” The feature was described as the reason the app was rebuilt from scratch, with each update intended to deliver the news that matters about users’ coins in five minutes a day instead of two hours.
