Sony’s Soneium Incubation Program Turns PlayStation Dreams Into Onchain Game Plans

Sony Group has launched the Sony Onchain Entertainment Incubation Program, inviting global builders and creators to develop entertainment and tokenized intellectual property on Soneium, Sony’s blockchain network. Applications opened on October 29, 2026, and will remain open through December 2026.

The initiative is aimed at projects extending beyond traditional blockchain gaming, with target categories including PlayStation games, anime, and digital collectibles. Sony has not announced any specific crypto integration for PlayStation.

Selected projects may receive technical infrastructure, marketing and business development support, community-building opportunities, and consideration for potential investment. The program also provides selected participants with co-creation opportunities involving Sony Group.

According to Soneium, the Sony Group initiative is “a global program for builders and creators bringing Entertainment and Tokenized IP to life on Soneium.” Sony said the program is intended to move projects beyond technical experiments and toward entertainment products that deliver tangible value to users.
