Bitget’s $1.86T Quarter Shows Crypto Got a Seat at the Multitasking Table

Bitget reported $1.86 trillion in total trading volume during the third quarter of 2026, according to its Transparency Report. Trading volume rose 21.2% from July to September as derivatives, spot trading, contracts for difference (CFDs) and new cross-asset features expanded.

Crypto derivatives volume increased 31.5% to $409.19 billion during the quarter, while spot trading activity rose 65.7%. CFD trading climbed 39.7% to $376.32 billion, making CFDs Bitget’s largest non-crypto trading category.

The exchange launched its Cross Asset Unified Trading Account (UTA), which places more than 370 eligible assets under a common margin structure, including over 100 tokenized US stocks. Eligible assets can be leveraged across several trading products, with valuation ratios reaching up to 95%.

Bitget also expanded its AI-powered GetAgent Playbook to cover tokenized U.S. equities and introduced institutional pricing enhancements and Cash Plus, a stablecoin product providing yield. “We’re seeing more traders move between crypto, stocks and traditional assets, and that’s why we are building a Universal Exchange,” said Gracy Chen, CEO of Bitget.
