Bitcoin Bounces Back, but the Fed Still Has the Mic
Bitcoin ($BTC) recovered toward $81,000, gaining nearly 2% as buyers returned ahead of the Federal Reserve’s FOMC policy decision. The move followed a recent drop below $80,000 as uncertainty over interest rates weighed on crypto markets.
The report was last updated 2 hours ago and listed Bitcoin ($BTC) at $80,628.42, with a 24h change of -1.10%. The recovery came as technology stocks regained momentum across major markets.
The Nasdaq Composite rose 1.18% and the S&P 500 gained 0.60% on last night’s close. The Nasdaq finished Tuesday at 26,477.81, while the S&P 500 ended at 7,722.60. Buying focused on technology stocks, particularly companies linked to artificial intelligence.
South Korea’s KOSPI surged 6.63% today, reclaiming 6,000 points as semiconductor optimism lifted Asian equities. The index opened 2.2% higher following Wall Street’s AI rally and news that SK Hynix posted record revenue of ₩104,615,500,000,000, about $78.8 BILLION, marking its first quarter ever above ₩100 TRILLION.
The global rebound now faces the FOMC’s interest-rate decision. Bulls largely expect the committee to hold rates steady, while persistent inflation and rising Treasury yields have kept the possibility of another hike alive. The Fed’s decision and forward guidance remain the next focus for markets.
