Ripple Swell’s 10-Year Bash Lands Bessent, Big Partnerships and XRP Buzz

Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse said on X that Ripple was “kicking off 10 years of Ripple Swell with a bang!” as the company opened what was described as its largest-ever Ripple Swell event, with US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent joining the opening.

Garlinghouse said the gathering marked the start of a new era for XRP and Ripple. “It was an honor to open up our conference with US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent. His leadership, alongside the current administration, has been instrumental in ensuring that responsible crypto can thrive in the US,” he said. He also highlighted rising institutional interest in Ripple’s ecosystem.

Bessent said the US Treasury could work with the SEC and CFTC to advance crypto regulation. Garlinghouse cited major partnerships with institutions including Robinhood and BNY as Ripple outlined its focus on XRP, the XRP Ledger and RLUSD.

XRP’s price jumped during the gathering as the XRP community met at the event. The program combined regulatory comments from Bessent with Garlinghouse’s updates on institutional partnerships and Ripple’s 10-year Ripple Swell milestone.
