Leveraged XRP ETFs enter the SEC waiting room with a Nov. 30, 2026 target

—By our Markets Desk2 min read

The effective date for a group of GraniteShares leveraged crypto ETFs, including two XRP products, has been delayed to November 30, 2026, according to a post-effective amendment filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

On October 26, 2026, GraniteShares ETF Trust filed the amendment, stating that its sole intent was to delay the impact of an earlier change to the registration until November 30, 2026. It adopts November 30 as the proposed effective date for Rule 485(b) of the Securities Act of 1933.

The registration covers the GraniteShares 3x Long XRP Daily ETF and GraniteShares 3x Short XRP Daily ETF. The same filing also includes funds leveraged on Bitcoin ($BTC), Ethereum ($ETH) and Solana ($SOL), while moving the effective date for its 3x Long and 3x Short XRP, Bitcoin, Ether and Solana ETFs to November 30, 2026.

The filing comes just days before the November 3 U.S. midterm elections, as Republicans and Democrats battle it out for control of Congress. The document contains no connection to the elections and does not explain the postponement beyond its stated intent to delay the earlier registration change.
