GTAO gets a Wall Street makeover as Grayscale’s Bittensor ETF filing nears NYSE Arca
Grayscale filed amendment no. 2 to its Form S-1 registration statement with the US SEC for a proposed spot Bittensor exchange-traded fund, moving the product closer to a listing on NYSE Arca under ticker GTAO once TAO meets eligibility criteria.
The amendment renames the trust to Grayscale Bittensor ETF, which would provide regulated exposure to TAO. Grayscale has not disclosed a management fee or any waiver for the first spot ETF tracking the TAO price, while shares currently trade on the OTCQX market under GTAO.
Grayscale also changed the primary custodian for the Grayscale Bittensor ETF to BitGo Bank & Trust from Coinbase Custody.
TAO jumped as traders responded to the filing and other developments with buying sentiment in derivatives markets.
