Big card, big chain: Mastercard spotlights $RLUSD at the XRPL hackathon
Global payments firm Mastercard representatives complimented Ripple-issued $RLUSD at the ongoing $XRP Ledger (XRPL) Hackathon in New York City, according to XRPL community member Lost Art.
Mastercard representatives were explaining requirements for partners pitching at the event when they singled out the Ripple-issued stablecoin. "Mastercard just complimented Ripple's $RLUSD live at XRPL Commons Hackathon partner pitch requirements," Lost Art said on X on Oct. 24.
The appearance drew attention to $RLUSD while Mastercard detailed its expectations for prospective partner pitches at the XRPL event.
