Aave V4 Spins Up Its First External Curator as Sentora Takes the Wheel

—By our Markets Desk1 min read

Aave has activated its first live external-curator deployment for Aave V4 on Ethereum, with Sentora curating three isolated lending markets through the protocol’s Hub-and-Spoke architecture.

Users can borrow Ripple’s RLUSD, PayPal’s PYUSD and Origin’s OUSD against yield-bearing and blue-chip collateral. The RLUSD Yield and OUSD Yield markets allow borrowing against USDe, PRIME, mWIN and PST, while the Bluechip market completes the three-market set.

Sentora sets the collateral, rates and oracles for the markets, while the Aave DAO controls the contracts. Risk-increasing changes are subject to a 48-hour timelock, and new assets must receive Aave governance review before listing.

The deployment is the first real-world use of Aave V4’s Hub-and-Spoke design under external curation, a model approved by the Aave DAO through governance. Sentora, an institutional DeFi platform, has allocated more than $2 billion across on-chain strategies.
