rTokens Take the Fast Lane as Bitget Schedules Oct. 13 Stock Transfer
Bitget will launch rToken Transfer on Oct. 13, a securities transfer service designed to deepen liquidity across its real-world asset (RWA) ecosystem. The service allows users to transfer eligible US-listed stocks and exchange-traded funds (ETFs) from outside their Bitget account without first liquidating their existing securities.
Transfers will use Free of Payment (FOP), with securities sent to Bitget’s designated Alpaca omnibus account. After receipt and processing, Bitget’s In-Kind Tokenization Network will convert the holdings into rTokens and add them to users’ Bitget spot accounts. The service is applicable to over 3,000 tokenized assets that give investors access to tokenized markets without requiring them to sell their existing holdings.
The transfer program falls under Broker Interoperability, an initiative intended to integrate traditional securities investment with digital asset infrastructure. Eligible deposited assets may be used for spot trading and, where available, margin applications, lending and borrowing, and earn products, subject to asset eligibility, applicable jurisdictions and terms and conditions.
Bitget is also pairing the stock transfer service with enhanced trading capabilities through its Super Match engine, with the aim of increasing engagement with the rToken ecosystem.
