Crypto News Edge swaps feed fatigue for "what actually matters" — waitlist now open 🎯

—By our Markets Desk2 min read

Crypto News, a crypto news outlet, announced it is rebranding to Crypto News Edge and rolling out the largest update in the app's history, designed to replace its continuous news feed with curated Stories focused on assets held in users' portfolios. The company framed the redesign as a response to information overload, noting that crypto markets generate thousands of headlines per day and that an estimated 95% of those items have no bearing on an individual holder's positions.

According to the announcement, the new format is intended to surface only the events that affect a user's portfolio rather than offering an exhaustive chronological stream. The company said users currently monitor multiple Telegram channels, their X feed, several news sites and price trackers such as CoinMarketCap, and must manually filter that input during routine volatility, using a Bitcoin dip of 4% as an example of a routine event that triggers extensive scrolling.

To gain access, readers are being directed to install the Crypto News app and sign in, which places them on a waitlist. The company confirmed that on launch day users on the waitlist will receive one month of Pro Light at no cost. The announcement did not specify a launch date, the full feature set of Crypto News Edge, or pricing tiers beyond Pro Light.

The rebrand arrives as crypto media consumption methods continue to fragment across social platforms and dedicated outlets. Crypto News said the update is the biggest in the app's history but did not disclose download figures, active user counts or revenue figures tied to the existing product.
