Strive's Bitcoin Stash Hits 36,818 BTC After $335M Shopping Spree Funded by Wall Street's Favorite Trick 🧾

Strive, the Nasdaq-listed corporate Bitcoin holder, acquired 4,045 BTC between October 12 and 16 for approximately $335 million at an average price of about $82,803 per coin including fees and expenses, according to a Monday filing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission. The purchase raised the company's total holdings from 32,773 BTC to 36,818 BTC, valued at roughly $3 billion at current prices and making Strive the fourth-largest publicly traded corporate BTC holder, ahead of MARA Holdings, according to data from BitcoinTreasuries.net. Strive CEO Matt Cole announced on October 19 that the latest batch of 1,223 BTC was bought between October 14 and 16 at an average price of $81,734, totaling about $99.96 million.

The capital came from warrant exercises on October 12 and 13, in which investors converted 273,493,909 contracts into 13,674,703 new Class A shares, generating approximately $369.2 million in proceeds. Strive reported that no traditional warrants remain after the leftovers expired unexercised on October 13. Class A shares outstanding rose from 101.2 million to 114.8 million over the week, roughly a 13.5% increase that closely tracks the 12.3% rise in Bitcoin holdings and leaves BTC per share largely unchanged. The company ended the period with $317.5 million in cash, up $7.2 million.

Cole also confirmed that Strive expects to receive proceeds from its SATS preferred stock offering on Tuesday, October 20, after expanding the deal from five million to seven million shares. The $630 million SATS offering carries a fixed 15% annual dividend payable each business day beginning November 9, subject to board approval, and could fund further Bitcoin acquisitions. Strive shares, trading under the ticker $ASST, were up around 7.7% at $25.95 in late-morning trading Monday, according to Yahoo Finance data.

Strive was co-founded in 2022 as an anti-ESG asset manager by former presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy, adopted Bitcoin as a treasury reserve in May 2025 during its merger with Asset Entities, and agreed in September to acquire Semler Scientific, a medical device maker holding about 5,000 BTC, in an all-stock deal valued at roughly $1.3 billion. Combined holdings stood at about 12,800 BTC after Semler shareholders approved the deal in January, meaning total reserves have since grown nearly threefold. Strive's previous purchase was 3,311 BTC for approximately $280 million at roughly $84,500 per coin the week prior.

Separately, Strategy, the largest corporate Bitcoin holder, bought 267 BTC for about $22.1 million at roughly $82,900 each last week, raising its total to 848,517 BTC, and spent $193.1 million repurchasing its STRC preferred stock, of which Strive holds 505,000 shares, while expanding its preferred-stock buyback program from $2 billion to $3 billion. MSCI also finalized a rule on October 15 targeting "non-operating companies" that would drop firms failing substantial-operating-asset and financial screens from its indexes as of the close of November 30, with the final affected list to be published November 11, a proposal Strategy Executive Chairman Michael Saylor had called discriminatory in a September letter.
