—By our Markets Desk2 min read

Strive, the Bitcoin-focused corporate treasury company, has expanded its holdings to 36,818 BTC after acquiring 4,045 Bitcoin for approximately $335 million between October 12 and 16, according to a U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission filing disclosed Monday. The average purchase price was $82,803 per coin, including fees and expenses. With the latest acquisitions, Strive has surpassed MARA Holdings to become the fourth-largest publicly traded corporate holder of Bitcoin, with reserves valued at roughly $3 billion, according to data from BitcoinTreasuries.net.

CEO Matt Cole announced on October 19 that the most recent tranche of 1,223 BTC was bought between October 14 and 16 at an average price of $81,734, totaling $99.96 million. That purchase followed a separate acquisition of 2,822 BTC for approximately $235 million on October 12 and 13, which itself followed a 3,311 BTC purchase the week prior. In just five days, Strive bought 4,045 BTC across two transactions, lifting holdings from 35,595 BTC to 36,818 BTC, a 3.44% increase.

The company funded its Bitcoin accumulation through equity financing, reporting roughly $369 million in proceeds from warrant exercises on October 12 and 13, which resulted in the issuance of 13.7 million common shares. Strive's effective share count rose 12.4%, closely matching the 12.3% increase in Bitcoin holdings and leaving BTC per share largely unchanged.

Strive also expects to receive proceeds from its SATS preferred stock offering on Tuesday, October 20, after increasing the size of the offering from five million to seven million shares. The $630 million SATS issue carries a fixed 15% annual dividend, payable each business day beginning November 9, subject to board approval. The company said it will maintain an 18-month dividend reserve, and proceeds from the offering may fund further Bitcoin purchases.

Meanwhile, Arkham-tracked wallets linked to MARA Holdings were reported to have deposited roughly $82 million worth of Bitcoin into Binance and Gate in recent days. Strive (ASST) shares were up approximately 7.7% at $25.95 in late-morning trading Monday, according to Yahoo Finance data.
