Killa's Calendar: Bitcoin's Bottom May Be Arriving Right on Election Day 🗳️

—By our Markets Desk2 min read

Cryptocurrency trader Killa, who has built a following of more than 200,000 on the social media platform X, has drawn attention to a recurring pattern between U.S. midterm elections and Bitcoin price lows. According to data shared by the analyst, Bitcoin bottomed out approximately 70 days after the 2014 midterm elections, 40 to 44 days after the 2018 midterms, and, in 2022, almost precisely on Election Day itself.

In a recent video, Killa outlined two scenarios for $BTC following the November 3 vote, urging market participants to remain attentive to price movements in the weeks surrounding the election. The analyst's working thesis is that Bitcoin's cyclical lows have, in recent election cycles, clustered close to the political calendar.

Killa also pointed out that Bitcoin's 2022 bottom occurred "almost exactly" with that year's midterm election, reinforcing the view that the November 3 date may be more than a political milestone for crypto traders. While past performance does not guarantee future results, the alignment of those three data points has become a talking point among technical analysts tracking the $BTC market.

The analyst stopped short of projecting a specific price target tied to the election timeline, instead framing the exercise as a study of historical correlation rather than a forecast. No official statements have been issued by major market participants or regulators in response to Killa's analysis, and $BTC continues to trade in line with broader market conditions heading into the November vote.
