Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse said Evernorth Holdings Inc. (Nasdaq: XRPN) could expand beyond a straightforward XRP treasury strategy by using on-chain capabilities to generate yield and build institutional products, speaking as the company made its public market debut on October 14. Evernorth listed on Nasdaq under the ticker XRPN with the aim of giving public investors exposure to XRP through an active digital asset treasury, a structure Garlinghouse said could evolve over time. "The ability to leverage even some of the on-chain capabilities to leverage yield" could help build institutional products, he said, pointing to opportunities that can be both on-chain and off-chain.

Garlinghouse credited Asheesh Birla, the Ripple-backed Evernorth CEO he said assembled the company's team, with positioning the firm to deliver differentiated XRP investment strategies. "You're going to see some interesting leverage and yield opportunities," Garlinghouse said, adding that such products may contribute to XRP's broader success. He framed the public listing as part of a wider effort to broaden access to crypto investments, suggesting a publicly traded vehicle could reach investors who do not currently hold digital assets directly.
