ChangeNOW Patches Website Vulnerability, Launches NOW AI Lab to Outpace the Hackers It Just Outsmarted 🚀

ChangeNOW disclosed on October 15, 2026 that it identified and patched a vulnerability affecting one of the integrations on its website, working alongside independent security researchers who reported the issue. The company, headquartered in Kingstown, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, said the flaw has been resolved and emphasized that its core transaction infrastructure was not affected, with customer funds remaining secure throughout the incident.

While ChangeNOW stated it has no evidence the vulnerability was exploited, the platform acknowledged it cannot assume the reporting researchers were the only ones to discover the issue. The company warned clients that exposed information could potentially include email addresses and transaction details. ChangeNOW urged users to be cautious of suspicious or fraudulent messages that may reference real transactions or prior support interactions to appear legitimate, reiterating that it only contacts clients via support@changenow.io and will never request private keys, seed phrases, or passwords by email.

In response to the incident, ChangeNOW announced the launch of NOW AI, a dedicated protection lab intended to raise the security standard across all of its products. The lab is designed to apply defensive technology to identify threats earlier and integrate stronger safeguards into the platform, particularly as artificial intelligence enables malicious actors to automate and scale attacks. ChangeNOW said the recent case underscored the urgency of these efforts and accelerated the rollout of NOW AI, with additional details to be published on a dedicated company webpage.

ChangeNOW described itself as a crypto super app providing storage, swaps, trading, staking, and asset management services to millions of clients worldwide since 2017. The company framed the announcement as part of its broader commitment to protecting user data and upgrading platform defenses.
