Bitget Hands Out 10K Fake Dollars So Traders Can Lose Pretend Money First 😄

—By our Exchanges & Companies Desk2 min read

Cryptocurrency exchange Bitget has launched a demo trading account for its Contracts for Difference (CFD) product, giving users virtual funds to practice across multiple asset classes before committing real capital. New registrants receive 10,000 USDT in simulated balance on both the Bitget website and mobile app.

The demo account delivers real-time market prices for Forex, precious metals, global indices, commodities and cryptocurrencies, allowing users to observe live price action, spreads, leverage, margin requirements and overnight financing costs without financial exposure. Users can adjust their virtual balance to test strategies under varying account sizes, and no additional Know Your Customer (KYC) or Know Your Business (KYB) verification is required to activate the account.

The simulated environment is available in both Electronic Communication Network (ECN) and 0-Fee trading modes, enabling users to compare fee structures. Advanced traders can connect via APIs to evaluate automated strategies prior to deploying them with actual funds.

Bitget CEO Gracy Chen said the feature is designed to ease the transition into unfamiliar markets for newer participants. "When entering a new market, understanding price movements is only part of the learning curve," Chen said, with the statement cut off in the source material.

The CFD demo trading rollout expands Bitget's product suite, which already includes spot and derivatives trading, as the exchange seeks to broaden access to traditional-finance instruments for crypto-native users.
