Morgan Stanley Sticks a $300 Sticker on SpaceX, Because Rockets Run on GPUs Now 🚀

—By our Markets Desk1 min read

Morgan Stanley has reaffirmed a $300 price target for privately traded SpaceX shares, with analyst Adam Jonas pointing to distributed artificial intelligence computing as a potential upside catalyst alongside the company's existing launch and satellite internet operations. The reiteration was detailed in a recent research note that also flagged robotics and interconnected networks as additional growth drivers for the company over time.

The SpaceX stock price fell roughly 1.5% to $154.16 at the time of writing, according to Yahoo Finance, and has shed more than 8% over the past five trading sessions amid a broader market selloff triggered by a hotter-than-expected US Consumer Price Index reading. Investor Ron Baron has projected that SpaceX could reach a $50 trillion valuation within the next decade.

The Morgan Stanley note does not specify a timeline for the $300 target, and shares of SPCX stock remain accessible only through private secondary markets.
