Saylor Sees Six Figures Again: "We Hit the Bottom" as Bitcoin Eyes $100K Return 📈
Strategy executive chairman Michael Saylor has declared that Bitcoin has entered a new bull market and could climb back above $100,000, citing improving economic conditions, regulatory developments, and rising institutional adoption. In a Bloomberg Television interview on October 13, Saylor said the cryptocurrency had already bottomed out and was beginning another upward move. "We hit the bottom around slightly below $60,000," Saylor said, noting that Bitcoin had since recovered into the $80,000 range. He did not provide a specific timeline for a return to six figures.
Bitcoin was trading near $83,000 at the time of his remarks, approximately 34% below its October 2025 record high of $126,251. The asset has traded around $80,000 since mid-August following a prolonged decline from that peak. The market also experienced approximately $19 billion in liquidations shortly after the record was set, adding pressure to leveraged cryptocurrency positions. Saylor attributed his outlook to changing monetary conditions, regulatory progress, and increasing institutional participation, adding that he expects Bitcoin to benefit from banking adoption and demand for digital credit as financial institutions expand their cryptocurrency offerings.
Strategy is planning additional Bitcoin purchases and digital credit issuance to support its expanding financial operations. The company also faces a potential headwind from MSCI, which has proposed index changes that could exclude Strategy from its benchmarks, putting approximately $2.8 billion in investment flows at risk.
