Strive Adds 3,311 BTC, Now Holds 32,773 — Cole Says "Think ₿igger," Saylor Says "Same

Strive, the Nasdaq-listed asset manager trading under the ticker ASST, purchased 3,311 BTC between October 5 and October 9 for approximately $280 million, lifting its corporate treasury holdings from 29,462 BTC to 32,773 BTC, an 11.24% increase. The average purchase price was roughly $84,500 per coin, including fees, according to the company's SEC filing. At last check on Tuesday, Bitcoin was trading near $83,904, below Strive's average acquisition price, though the token posted modest daily gains. Strive Chairman and CEO Matt Cole shared a Bitcoin tracker on X ahead of the announcement bearing the message "Think ₿igger," a tagline that has accompanied prior accumulation updates.

The acquisition extends a stretch of aggressive buying. Strive added 2,000 BTC worth approximately $169 million on October 5, and previously pushed its stack past 27,000 BTC with a $94.5 million purchase in late September. The latest tranche is the company's largest single buy since January. Beyond its Bitcoin reserves, Strive holds roughly 505,000 shares of Strategy's STRC preferred stock, valued near $50 million, and approximately $310 million in cash. The push pushed Strive's holdings above 30,000 BTC for the first time, ranking it the fifth-largest publicly traded corporate Bitcoin holder, per industry data.

Alongside the purchase, Strive reported approximately $208 million in exercised warrants supporting its capital-raising activities. About 15.3 million warrants remained outstanding before their scheduled October 13 expiration at 5 p.m. Eastern Time. The company also amended its governing documents to set a binding $100 minimum issuance price for its SATA preferred shares, limiting the company's ability to issue them below that threshold. SATA shares were last trading at $99.40. During the reporting period, Bitcoin reserves grew 11.2%, outpacing a 9.4% increase in Strive's effective common share count, boosting per-share Bitcoin exposure for existing shareholders.

Strategy Executive Chairman Michael Saylor, whose firm pioneered the corporate Bitcoin treasury model, weighed in on Strive's approach. "Strive is turning demand for digital equity (ASST) and digital credit (SATA) into demand for Bitcoin," Saylor wrote on X. "Its hypergrowth shows how the capital markets are accelerating Bitcoin adoption." For comparison, Strategy added a comparatively modest 250 BTC to its treasury last week, bringing its total holdings to 848,250 BTC and retaining its position as the largest publicly traded corporate Bitcoin holder. Other treasury firms continue accumulating digital assets, with DeFi Development Corp. adding SOL and Bitmine continuing to stack Ethereum, though chairman Tom Lee said that company plans to halt purchases once it holds 5% of the ETH supply.
