USDT in, fiat out: A7's new trick turns a SWIFT wire into a one-click receipt 🎯

A7, the Russian settlement system built by Bank PSB, is set to present A7 International on October 13, a product allowing clients to fund an invoice in USDT while the counterparty is paid through a standard SWIFT bank transfer in the required currency. The service, aimed primarily at foreign trade operators but also open to individuals, carries a fixed fee of 0.3 percent and will be outlined by Chairman of PJSC Bank PSB Petr Fradkov and A7 CEO Ilan Shor during a live broadcast at 13:13.

Founded in 2024 with the involvement of PSB Bank, A7 says it serves around 15,000 clients, processes roughly 2,000 transactions per day, and handled more than 10 trillion roubles in 2025, when approximately 19 percent of Russian companies' cross-border trade settlements moved through the platform. In October 2025, ACRA assigned A7 an AA(RU) credit rating with a Stable outlook. The company describes its mission as building an independent global payment infrastructure spanning more than 100 countries.

The mechanics of A7 International are designed so that the sender deals only in digital assets. A client registers at a7.biz, completes KYC for individuals or KYB for companies, uploads the invoice and supporting documents, and transfers USDT; A7 then executes the SWIFT transfer denominated from the counterparty details listed on the invoice. Recipients receive funds in their bank accounts and do not need to hold cryptocurrency or open a crypto wallet. The platform uses an algorithm that assesses the sender, beneficiary, jurisdictions and risk factors, compares compliance requirements with available payment infrastructure, and recommends the optimal route based on cost, speed, reliability and restrictions, with routing updated dynamically as conditions change.

Speaking about the launch, Fradkov framed the new offering as a repositioning of the company rather than a simple product addition, noting demand from market participants for cross-border transfers that can be completed in a few clicks from a smartphone without lengthy paperwork, hidden fees or extended holds. A7 International is positioned as a remote service that complies with local legislation on digital assets and is available only in jurisdictions where cryptocurrency circulation is permitted. The launch is accompanied by a presentation scheduled for October 13, with the broadcast open to interested participants.
