Betting Big: 1win Owner Tips CS2 Squad $100K After They KO World No.1 Spirit 🎮

Counter-Strike 2 roster 1win Team has secured a $100,000 bonus from the Owner of 1win following a 2-0 upset over world No. 1 Team Spirit on October 6th, 2026, at ESL Pro League Season 24 in Katowice, Poland. The victory sealed a playoff berth at the Spodek Arena and lifted 1win to No. 14 in the Valve Regional Standings, strengthening its position in the race for the upcoming Singapore Major.

The result capped a 3-1 group-stage campaign for 1win, which opened the tournament with a loss to Vitality before posting three straight series wins over G2, Legacy and Spirit. The team had qualified for ESL Pro League Season 24 by winning ESL Challenger League Season 51 Europe.

Owner 1win credited an internal overhaul of the esports division, implemented three months earlier, for the rapid turnaround. "Today our 1win team beat the world's No.1 team, Team Spirit, 2-0 in CS2 and broke into the top 14 teams in the world. Exactly three months ago, we decided to change our approach to the eSports division, and the results didn't take long. The team will get a $100K bonus from me for such a top performance," the Owner of 1win said on his official Telegram account.

Team captain Vladislav "nafany" Gorshkov confirmed the squad was informed of the bonus after the series. "Finding out about the $100K bonus after the win like this is obviously an incredible feeling. We knew how important this match was and really wanted to show what we are capable of. Beating the Team, making the playoffs, and then getting this kind of support from Owner 1win makes the moment even more special. But we have more to deliver, the playoffs are coming," nafany said.

The 1win Team Counter-Strike 2 roster joined the organization on August 1, 2026, and features Sergey "Ax1Le" Rykhtorov, Andrey "BELCHONOKK" Yasinskiy, Petr "fame" Bolyshev, and Artem "ArtFr0st" Kharitonov, coached by Konstantin "groove" Pikiner. The organization is developing a dedicated training base for the lineup in Serbia, the same location used previously for its Dota 2 bootcamp, with streaming service W.TV listed as the team's general sponsor.
