XRP ETFs Pulled $307.9M Last Quarter — Price Still Couldn't Break Free From Its $1.50 Gravity 🪙
XRP rose more than 45% in the third quarter even as the token entered October trading near $1.50 after repeated failures around the $1.70 level, with U.S. spot XRP ETFs attracting roughly $307.9 million in inflows over the period, according to CryptoNews. Cumulative inflows into spot XRP ETFs have approached $1.8 billion, but the buying has not produced a higher clearing price for the token, which was priced at $1.54 at the time of publication, down 3.28% over 24 hours.
The price action shows that fund demand has not yet been sufficient to absorb available supply as XRP rallies. Buyers can continue to support the market while sellers meet bids, leaving XRP near $1.50 rather than forcing a break through resistance. After a quarterly gain above 45%, some holders may have an incentive to realize profits near previous highs, even as ETF buyers continue to accumulate.
Seven-day altcoin inflow transactions to exchanges reportedly reached their highest level since October 2025, and CryptoQuant described the increase in deposits as broad rather than concentrated among a few large wallets. Exchange transfers are not proof of a sale, but they increase the amount of tokens that could become sell-side liquidity, a factor traders monitor when assessing crypto market supply.
Broader XRP exchange inventory and supply signals provide context, but they do not establish which wallets sold into any specific rally. ETF flow data tracked by Coinglass and on-chain metrics from CryptoQuant indicate that the demand absorbed so far has been matched by willing sellers, leaving the token range-bound despite record quarterly ETF interest.
