Third Time's the Charm: TRUMP Memecoin Rolls Out Gala #3, Top 185 Holders Get a Seat at the Table 🍽️
The organization behind President Donald J. Trump's Official Trump memecoin ($TRUMP) is inviting the token's top 185 holders to a November 22, 2026 "gala dinner" at Trump National in Washington, D.C., with Trump listed as the featured speaker alongside three unnamed "legends." The event page, run by Fight Fight Fight LLC, ranks registered holders on a time-weighted leaderboard that opened September 30 and locks with a final snapshot on November 12. The top 29 will attend a VIP reception with Trump and one of the guest speakers, the top four will receive an 18-karat gold Trump watch, and the organizers have stated, "No attendees will be granted a private meet & greet with the President."
The November dinner is the third holder-access event tied to the token. The first, in May 2025, drew the top 220 holders to the same Trump National venue, with the 25 VIPs having spent an average of $4.8 million; non-U.S. wallets dominated the guest list, and Justin Sun, founder of the Tron network, was the top holder at roughly $19 million in $TRUMP at the time. The second, an April 2026 conference at Trump's Mar-a-Lago property in Florida, hosted approximately 297 guests; one attendee told Decrypt he qualified after buying about $3,000 of the token. $TRUMP traded around $2.04 at publication, near a $576 million market cap and down more than 97% from its January 2025 launch peak of about $74. The token spiked roughly 9–10% to $2.23–$2.25 on the announcement before settling back.
The dinner arrives against a backdrop of mounting losses for retail holders and intensifying ethics scrutiny. Public Citizen estimated in August that investors in the Trump family's crypto ventures had lost a combined $4.7 billion since 2022, including about $3.2 billion attributed to the $TRUMP memecoin; another tally cited by reporting put losses across roughly 1 million wallets at $3.81 billion, with insiders still controlling approximately 80% of supply. Trump's 2025 financial disclosure reported more than $635 million in $TRUMP licensing royalties and total crypto-related earnings above $1.2 billion, with some estimates exceeding $1.4 billion. Public Citizen co-president Robert Weissman told Cointelegraph, "In the best case, the dinner is unethical and unconscionable profiteering off the presidency. People are buying the memecoin and eager to attend a dinner only because Trump is president. In the worst case, this is pay-to-play access to the president: spend enough on Trump's memecoin and you may get a chance to whisper to the President of the United States about a preferred policy, enforcement action or requested favor." Senator Chris Coons, in a Thursday Bluesky post, called the event "corruption."
The timing also intersects with the collapse of the Digital Asset Market Clarity Act, the Senate's crypto market-structure bill, which failed a key procedural vote 49–50 last month. Ethics provisions requiring covered officials to divest crypto interests or place them in a qualified blind trust were a central sticking point; Democrats, including Senator Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts, argued the language left loopholes allowing the president to retain existing ventures. Trump had said he was willing to consider a blind trust or divestiture, but the broader deal fell apart when the bill failed. Critics have also pointed to the SEC's $10 million settlement with Justin Sun, whose agency chair was appointed by Trump, as a separate point of contention. A White House spokesperson referred inquiries to the event organizers.
