Avalanche just hoarded $131M in tokenized stocks — Securitize did 99% of the lifting 🏔️

—By our Markets Desk2 min read

Avalanche [ $AVAX ] absorbed $131.2 million in tokenized-stock value over the past week, outpacing every other network by a wide margin, according to fresh market-cap data. The surge pushed Avalanche to the top of the tokenized-equity leaderboard, well ahead of competing chains that saw little comparable movement.

Nearly all of the inflow can be traced to a single source: Securitize, which contributed roughly $132 million in market capitalization. With one issuer responsible for almost the entire weekly gain, the data indicates that the capital reflects demand for a specific tokenized-stock product rather than a broad rotation into Avalanche-based equities.

The pattern underscores how concentrated the tokenized-stock market remains, where a few issuers can drive network-level rankings. While Avalanche's headline figure suggests accelerating institutional or retail interest in onchain equities, the underlying activity shows that issuer-level catalysts, not network-wide adoption, are doing the heavy lifting.

Tokenized stocks have continued to expand across multiple chains this year, with issuers deploying products on networks optimized for compliance and settlement. Avalanche's infrastructure has positioned it as a hub for several regulated securities offerings, though the latest concentration also highlights the fragility of relying on a single counterparty for growth metrics.

The $131.2 million weekly inflow nonetheless marks one of the largest single-week jumps for tokenized stocks on any public chain to date, even as analysts note the figure is almost entirely attributable to Securitize-issued assets.
