Saylor's Strategy Shuffles $297M in Bitcoin — Markets Shrug, Then Inhale Sharply 🫠
Michael Saylor's Strategy moved 3,568 BTC valued at approximately $297 million over a nine-hour window ending September 29, according to on-chain analytics platform Lookonchain. Lookonchain flagged the transfer on X, asking whether the firm was selling again or simply relocating coins between wallets. The transaction size revived market chatter about a potential sale similar to one executed a few months earlier. Bitcoin was trading above $84,000 at the time of the move, according to the report.
Strategy's latest transfer followed a separate purchase of 1,665 BTC, bringing the company's total holdings to 847,666 BTC. The company also repurchased $152 million of its STRC preferred stock, with USD reserves standing at $6.02 billion. Lookonchain documented the transfers as Strategy continues to operate under its Digital Credit Capital Framework. The firm remains the largest corporate holder of Bitcoin. No official statement from Strategy or Michael Saylor was referenced in the on-chain report.
