Aster Grid 2.0 Drops 140,000 $ASTER Into a Four-Week Liquidity Mining Pool 🪤

—By our DeFi Desk2 min read

Aster, the privacy-first onchain trading platform backed by YZi Labs, has launched a Liquidity Pool Mining campaign running four weeks from September 28 to October 25, 2026 (UTC), with a total reward pool of up to 140,000 $ASTER tied to its newly released Perpetual Grid 2.0. The campaign is open to every Aster user running Perpetual Grid strategies on eligible trading pairs, with no registration required. Rewards are distributed hourly according to each eligible Grid's share of trading volume, with a base reward pool of 10,000 $ASTER per epoch and additional allocations based on market conditions and platform activity.

"As Aster continues to bring more emerging assets and opportunities onchain, we're also focused on building the tools traders need to navigate increasingly dynamic markets. Perpetual Grid offers a flexible way to capture opportunities amid market volatility, and Grid 2.0 takes this experience further with greater flexibility and independence. This upgrade is another step toward our broader vision of building the frontier of onchain trading," said Leonard, CEO at Aster.

Both Maker and Taker volume count toward the campaign, while manual trading and activity outside an eligible Grid strategy are excluded. An Estimated Bonus APY is displayed to indicate potential annualized $ASTER rewards based on recent campaign activity, though the figure can shift with changes in trading volume, participating Grids and other campaign conditions, and does not guarantee future returns.

The Perpetual Grid 2.0 upgrade separates automated Grid strategies from manual Perpetual trading by routing each Grid through a dedicated Grid Bot subaccount, with positions and margin isolated from the main Perpetual account. The release supports both Cross and Isolated Margin, allowing users to operate automated Grid strategies while continuing to trade Perpetuals manually, including on the same trading pair. Isolated Margin accounts can run up to 50 independent Grid strategies per account, with no per-pair limit.

Aster's Grid Marketplace complements the upgrade by letting users browse active Grid strategies and review metrics such as PnL, ROI, runtime, price range, leverage and trading activity. Participants can copy an existing strategy as a starting point or use the Reverse function to flip a Long strategy into a Short one or vice versa, with copied or reversed strategies remaining independent from the originals.
