XRP Charts a 60% Climb While Brandt Whistles Past the $5.40 Graveyard 🚂

—By our Markets Desk2 min read

$XRP has rallied more than 60% over the past month, fueled by sustained inflows into spot XRP ETFs and renewed accumulation by large holders, according to market data cited by analysts. The token's latest advance comes as institutional products tracking the asset continue to attract capital and on-chain activity expands. Veteran trader Peter Brandt shared a chart of $XRP and projected a long-term price target of $5.40, representing nearly 260% upside from recent levels. Brandt did not specify a timeline and stressed that posting a chart is not the same as placing a trade, basing his outlook on chart patterns and historical cycles. Addressing $XRP directly, Brandt wrote, "It is not necessary to be a certified cult member to be an interested owner of a crypto XRP."

Standard Chartered reaffirmed its 2030 $XRP price target at $28 even as the bank lowered its 2026 forecast from $8 to $2.80, citing evolving institutional use cases. The bank's analysts pointed to growth in XRPL-based payments, liquidity provisions, tokenization initiatives, stablecoin deployments and DeFi activity as drivers of long-term demand. Other market analysts identified nearer-term technical levels around $2, with several maintaining bullish outlooks into year-end. Network data referenced by trackers showed increased transaction counts and rising whale wallet balances during the rally. The combination of spot ETF inflows, institutional research coverage and steady whale accumulation has coincided with $XRP's strongest monthly performance of the year, though analysts offered no guarantees on the durability of the move.
