NEAR Trims Ondo's 100-Stock Buffet to a 20-Course Tasting Menu 🍽️

Near.com and Ondo Finance have activated tokenized U.S. stocks and ETFs for eligible users, opening with 20 assets including Nvidia, Tesla, Apple, Microsoft, Amazon, SPY and QQQ, the companies confirmed. The broader Ondo Stocks platform lists more than 100 stocks and ETFs, spanning individual equities, indexes and fixed-income ETFs such as TLT, TIP and AGG, according to Ondo's documentation, with the full catalog accessible at app.ondo.finance. NEAR's initial rollout exposes only a fifth of that catalog through Near.com, positioning the launch as a distribution milestone rather than an asset-count expansion. NEAR Intents is described in the launch material as a separate cross-chain routing layer that can eventually direct the same tokenized securities to connected wallets, applications, and DeFi protocols.

Funding on Near.com is accepted in stablecoins and other supported crypto from more than 30 networks, with USDon used at settlement. Ondo says USDon is backed 1:1 by a U.S. dollar held in an Ondo Stocks brokerage account. Tokenized products available at launch reference tickers including $NVDAON, $TSLAON and $SPYON, per an Ondo announcement and a September 23, 2026 post from BSCN citing the integration. A "1Click API" is intended to let developers add the real-world-asset-backed instruments to third-party interfaces. Ondo has framed app.ondo.finance as the reference point for the complete list of supported instruments, with Near.com acting as the initial user-facing surface tied to the same underlying catalog.
