Gas? Never heard of her: MeshWallet banks $10M to make TRX the third wheel in USDT transfers 💸
Tallinn, Estonia, September 24th, 2026 — MeshWallet, a gasless USDT wallet operating on the TRON network, has closed a $10,000,000 private funding round led by a core group of private investors and small family offices. The company said the capital will support product development and expansion of a user benefits ecosystem as it seeks to position itself at the front of the dedicated gasless wallet category.
The raise lands against a backdrop of large nine-figure investments in mainstream wallets such as Metamask and Phantom in recent years, and ongoing demand for more secure systems to hold, receive and spend crypto. MeshWallet is built around TRON, which remains the largest network by volume for USDT transfer, and the company frames itself as an early mover in the gasless segment for that asset.
Sending USDT on TRON has historically required holders to keep TRX on hand to cover network fees. MeshWallet settles that fee in USDT itself, removing the need to acquire or hold a second token. The application is self-custodial, with private keys stored on the user's own device, and is offered alongside an open-source codebase, two ongoing independent audits and a growing Trustpilot presence.
The wallet is designed to serve both retail and business users, ranging from occasional holders to traders making daily transfers of goods, services and remittances. MeshWallet says businesses benefit administratively from accounting for a single token against their home currency, with onboarding and retail integrations simplified as a result.
The funding arrives as the Digital Asset Market Clarity Act, backed by President Trump, advances through the U.S. Congress. The legislation, which would establish a regulated framework for cryptocurrencies and digital assets and formally classify many as commodities, has cleared the House of Representatives and advanced through the Senate Banking Committee, with procedural floor voting opened in August. With capital secured, MeshWallet plans to introduce a wide range of new features as development accelerates.
