Zappin Telegram Bot Hits Robinhood Chain With 90% ETH Fee Refund, Because 1% Is Just Too Mainnet 💸

—By our DeFi Desk2 min read

Telegram-native token trading went live on Robinhood Chain on September 21, 2026, with the launch of Zappin, a trading interface built by OnchainLens that routes swaps through Uniswap directly inside the messaging app without requiring a separate DEX interface.

Zappin charges a stated 1% fee per swap, but for the first 30 days following launch the protocol returns 90% of that fee in ETH, bringing the effective cost per trade to 0.1%. The 90% ETH rebate significantly exceeds the 20% to 30% cashback rates offered by competing Telegram-based trading bots, according to figures cited by the Zappin team.

The launch adds another execution layer to a network that has recorded over $60 billion in cumulative DEX volume. Robinhood Chain operates as a separate blockchain from Robinhood the brokerage, and trading on the chain is handled through third-party interfaces such as Zappin rather than through any native brokerage integration.

The Zappin team confirmed that there is no native Zappin token, a structural choice aimed at reducing the number of impersonator tokens and phishing contracts that typically launch alongside new trading products. OnchainLens published the bot and continues to maintain it as of launch day.

Zappin is positioned as a Telegram interface that surfaces Uniswap liquidity and pricing, with swaps executed on-chain rather than through any custodial order book. The 30-day rebate window is scheduled to begin counting from the September 21, 2026 launch date, after which the effective fee structure is expected to revert to the standard 1% rate unless renewed by the team.
