Shibarium Reorg Gets a Clean Bill of Health, One Stubborn Ticket Left 🛠️

Developer Kaal Dhairya confirmed the Shibarium reorg fix on September 19, ending months of Layer-2 instability for the Shiba Inu network. The confirmation was relayed by community operator Mazrael. One task remains: dRPC must complete its cutover to the new environment before wallet connections fully stabilize.

The upgrade sprint began September 12, when Shib.io, ShibaSwap, and docs.shib.io all migrated to Cloudflare, with IPv6 support added alongside. Three days later, a full validator peer rotation hit both the Bor and Heimdall layers. Nodes that did not update to the new static files reported peercount=0, meaning they dropped off the network.

Shibariumscan, the network's primary block explorer, is only around 53% reindexed, leaving on-chain totals incomplete until the explorer catches up with the fixed state. The multi-part infrastructure overhaul was pushed through in a single week, repositioning Shibarium after repeated incidents tied to its consensus layer.

Alongside the reorg resolution, the Shiba Inu team moved the main domains behind Cloudflare, rotated validator peers across the stack, and is now waiting on the dRPC cutover. Until that final ticket closes and Shibariumscan finishes reindexing, RPC endpoints, explorer pages, and wallet reconnections are the remaining moving parts in the stabilization effort.
