Robinhood's New Mascots? JUGGERNAUT Jumps 500%, FRONG Flips 130% 🐸
Robinhood Assets added The Juggernaut (JUGGERNAUT) and Frong (FRONG) meme coins to its tracked assets list, sending JUGGERNAUT price skyrocketing 500% and FRONG price surging about 130% as traders piled into Robinhood Chain tokens. On-chain trackers flagged the listings on Thursday, alongside several other tokens, expanding the menu of assets users can monitor on the platform.
Robinhood Chain, an Ethereum Layer 2 blockchain originally launched for tokenized stocks and real-world assets, has emerged as a high-volume venue for permissionless meme coin trading. Token Terminal data shows the chain's DEX trading volume reached $4.5 billion over the past 30 days. Cash Cat (CASHCAT) remains the only meme coin on Robinhood Chain currently available for spot trading, meaning JUGGERNAUT and FRONG users can so far only track prices rather than trade them directly through Robinhood Crypto.
The listings come amid growing attention to Robinhood's on-chain activity. Past additions to Robinhood Crypto's assets list have historically drawn new buyers who had not previously traded the listed tokens on Uniswap, prompting broader questions about how the brokerage's visibility shapes demand. Community commentators have raised concerns about speculative flows tied to the listings, while supporters point to the chain's rising liquidity profile as evidence of organic retail engagement.
Robinhood has not publicly commented on the JUGGERNAUT and FRONG additions, and no official confirmation of a future spot listing has been issued. Both tokens continue to trade on decentralized venues as traders weigh whether the price reactions reflect a durable shift in liquidity or a short-term event-driven spike tied to the Robinhood listing headlines.
