Pons purrs past Cash Cat as Robinhood Chain logs $874.8M meme-fueled record 🐱
Robinhood Chain processed $874.8 million in decentralized exchange volume on August 30, its largest single-day total since the Arbitrum-based Layer 2 launched on July 1. The figure surpassed the network's previous high of $846.8 million, set in mid-July alongside 306,893 active addresses, and coincided with 5.5 million transactions on the day. Token launchpad volume also reached an all-time high of $394.4 million on August 30, while real-world asset activity totaled $165.5 million, including a tokenized value of $51.81 million led by $40.76 million in stocks.
Uniswap routed nearly 95% of the day's trading across its three versions. Uniswap v4 led with $432 million, followed by Uniswap v3 at $356.9 million and Uniswap v2 at $40 million. The data, compiled via Dune, marks the first time Uniswap v4 has handled the majority of flow on the network.
Pons (PONS) led all tokens on August 30 with $67.38 million in volume, 135,566 trades and 12,670 unique traders. Cash Cat (CASHCAT) ranked second at $32.66 million, while nine of the 20 most-traded tokens launched on ponsfamily.com. PONS trades at $0.328, up more than 370% over seven days, with a $233 million market cap and a record $0.39 set on August 30.
The chain's July peak was driven by launch-week novelty and a token tied to the company's own name, with Cash Cat topping trading tables within days of the July 1 debut. That early surge faded through early August before momentum returned late in the month, carrying multiple records across DEX volume, transactions and tokenized assets. Whether daily volume holds above prior levels once the current meme coin cycle cools remains the next test for the network.
