SUI Out of the Doge House: $0.75 Retaken as Tokenized Credit and Perps Pile On 🟢
$SUI climbed to $0.7473 on Tuesday, breaking above its 50-day exponential moving average for the first time since a months-long slide that had kept the token pinned near $0.66 support since June. The token remains below the 200-day EMA, with traders identifying the $1.00 zone as the next major technical test; a failure to hold the recovery would put $0.66 back in focus. The move coincides with a broader advance in $BTC and $ETH rather than purely $SUI-specific flows.
On August 18, Sui announced its first integration with Securitize via the High Income Tokenized Fund (HINC), which brings high-yield bonds, CLOs and leveraged loans onchain and broadens the network's footprint beyond tokenized Treasuries and money-market products. Ember Protocol subsequently launched HIGH on Ethereum and Sui, offering tokenized access to an actively managed U.S. high-yield credit portfolio covering high-yield corporate bonds, senior secured bank loans and BB-rated CLO debt. HIGH includes daily subscriptions, BNY Mellon custody, no fund-level leverage and no CLO equity, carries a limited-time 1% yield boost, and requires KYC with minting restricted to non-U.S. persons.
Aftermath Finance also brought Aftermath Perpetuals V2 to mainnet, listing 15 markets at launch including $BTC, $ETH, $SUI, NVDA, TSLA, GOOGL, gold, silver, WTI crude and the S&P 500. The expansion adds derivatives activity to a network whose token had spent much of the summer struggling to hold support, giving traders additional venues for exposure alongside the new fixed-income products.
