World Liberty's USD1 Just Walked Into an AI Bazaar Stacked With 43 Chinese Models 🇨🇳
World Liberty Financial, the Trump-family crypto venture, has partnered with Hong Kong–based AI platform WorldClaw, which routes roughly 90 artificial intelligence models including systems from Alibaba, Baidu and Z.ai that are subject to U.S. national security restrictions. The arrangement links World Liberty Financial's USD1 stablecoin directly to AI inference services, with WorldClaw accepting USD1 as payment through its WorldRouter distribution layer. Terms of the commercial deal were not disclosed.
WorldClaw's catalog spans about 90 models in total, 43 of which originate from Chinese developers, alongside offerings from U.S. labs such as OpenAI and Anthropic. WorldClaw positioned the tie-up as a way to broaden access to frontier AI tooling while onboarding USD1 as a settlement rail. The platform framed executive Ryan Fang's involvement as "strictly advisory," with a focus on USD1 adoption, partnerships and broader access to AI services. Fang currently holds a role at World Liberty Financial and has separately served in an advisory capacity at WorldClaw.
Ownership disclosures show President Donald Trump's family controls 38% of World Liberty Financial and is entitled to revenue tied to the venture's crypto products, a structure that has drawn scrutiny in Washington. Several of the Chinese model providers surfaced through WorldClaw appear on U.S. restriction lists, complicating the optics of a U.S.-political-figure-linked entity routing payments to blacklisted AI stacks. WorldClaw has not publicly addressed those restrictions beyond confirming the models remain accessible via its platform.
The partnership lands as stablecoin issuers race to lock in real-world utility beyond trading pairs, with USD1 now positioned against API-call denominated demand rather than purely payments or remittances. World Liberty Financial has previously touted integrations with major trading venues, custodians and DeFi protocols, though the WorldClaw deal marks one of its first forays into AI-services billing. No figures on transaction volume, treasury allocation or expected revenue contribution have been disclosed.
