Strategy Drops $1K Baby Bonus Into Trump Accounts, Hoping Tomorrow's Workers Hodl $BTC

Strategy will contribute $250 a year and a one-time $1,000 seed payment to Trump Accounts for every eligible child under 18 of its U.S. employees, joining Coinbase, Circle, Morgan Stanley, and Goldman Sachs in supporting the federal children's investing initiative. The Bitcoin treasury firm said employer contributions will start only after the U.S. Treasury issues final guidance and the employer contribution infrastructure is operational. Trump Accounts are designed to encourage long-term investing for children through tax-advantaged vehicles tied to U.S. equity index funds, with the U.S. government providing a seed contribution to eligible participants.

Strategy reported that its Bitcoin holdings stand at 842,138 $BTC following recent sales, according to on-chain data referenced by the company. Additional large wallet transfers from the firm have been tracked publicly, though Strategy has framed the activity as part of its ongoing capital management program rather than a change in policy.

Michael Saylor, Executive Chairman of Strategy, reaffirmed the company's long-term Bitcoin commitment in public comments, noting that treasury sales and capital management activities do not alter the firm's core thesis. Strategy's share price and balance sheet metrics are not the subject of this announcement, and the company pointed to its prior disclosures for capital structure details.

The Trump Accounts program is being rolled out in phases, with federal implementation steps preceding employer participation. Strategy said it will publish internal guidance to U.S. staff once Treasury rules are finalized and the contribution systems are live, and that eligibility will follow the program's defined criteria for dependent children of full-time employees.

Other major financial and crypto firms have committed to similar contribution structures, signaling broad private-sector alignment with the initiative ahead of the public launch. Strategy's announcement adds a Bitcoin-treasury issuer to the roster of participating employers alongside Coinbase and Morgan Stanley, underscoring the program's reach across both traditional finance and digital asset companies.
