The buying activity spanned ARK's flagship and thematic funds, with Coinbase Global ($COIN) shares closing at $146.50, up 0.16%, and Circle Internet Group ($CRCL) shares closing at $60.35, down 3.61% for the session.
ARK Innovation ETF (ARKK) led the Coinbase accumulation, acquiring 38,761 $COIN shares valued at approximately $5.68 million as of the close. ARK Next Generation Internet ETF (ARKW) purchased roughly $1.63 million worth of $COIN, representing 11,133 units, while ARK Fintech Innovation ETF (ARKF) added 4,882 $COIN shares valued at approximately $715,213. In aggregate, ARK bought 54,776 $COIN shares across the three funds, totaling about $8.02 million.
On the Circle side, ARKK acquired 17,910 $CRCL shares worth approximately $1.08 million, according to the disclosure. ARKW purchased an additional 5,160 $CRCL shares for about $311,406, bringing ARK's combined Circle position to 23,070 shares valued at roughly $1.39 million.
The transactions come as the Senate moves closer to another vote on the CLARITY Act, legislation aimed at defining the regulatory perimeter for digital asset markets in the United States.
