1win lets users swap passwords for wallets, because remembering seed phrases was already hard enough πŸ”‘

Crypto entertainment platform 1win has rolled out a Web3 authentication system that lets users register, sign in, and deposit funds directly through a crypto wallet, the company announced on August 4 from Willemstad, Curaçao. The feature, available platform-wide, eliminates email registration, passwords, and the manual copying of wallet addresses, allowing a wallet itself to serve as the user's account identity.

The integration supports Trust Wallet, MetaMask, and any WalletConnect-enabled wallet, with EVM-compatible networks available across all options. TRON connectivity is offered through Trust Wallet and WalletConnect-enabled TRON options, making 1win one of the first crypto entertainment platforms to provide seamless wallet onboarding for the TRON network, where USDT (TRC-20) remains a widely used payment method. Deposits are completed by confirming a transaction within the connected wallet application, and a new 1win account tied to the wallet is created automatically upon first connection.

Founded in 2016, 1win operates across Asia, Latin America, and Africa and offers entertainment products adapted to regional audiences. The platform has public collaborations with football figure Luis Suarez, martial artist Jon Jones, and Olympic champion and UFC fighter Gable Steveson, with rapper Tyga and UFC's Ilia Topuria joining its 1win VIP community in 2026.

By removing email registration, password management, and manual address input, the updated onboarding flow addresses common friction points cited by crypto users. New users connecting a wallet for the first time can complete registration and authorize their initial deposit in a single step, reducing the time between visiting the platform and funding an account.
