CoolWallet Taps ChangeNOW as Default In-App Swap, Teases Token2049 Hardware Wallet Collab 🪙

CoolWallet has integrated ChangeNOW as the default in-app swap provider inside its hardware-wallet companion app, marking the first phase of a broader strategic partnership between the two companies. For the first month following launch, ChangeNOW will be the sole provider users encounter when opening the swap screen; the system selects the asset pair and confirms the transaction without requiring users to choose a routing backend.

The integration lets CoolWallet users trade across more than 1,500 assets and 90 networks without exporting private keys, opening extra apps, or relying on browser tabs. The setup is non-custodial and requires no registration, with routing drawing from centralized and decentralized liquidity to target the best final output rather than headline rates. Coverage spans Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, and EVM-compatible chains, alongside other supported networks for buying, staking, and swapping.

CoolWallet has produced hardware wallets since 2014 and now reports more than 300,000 users with no recorded hacking incidents. Its current lineup includes the CoolWallet Pro and the NFC-enabled CoolWallet Go, credit-card-sized devices that pair with the CoolWallet App to manage both cold and hot storage together. Private keys are generated inside the device's secure chip and never leave it, so they are not exposed to the connected mobile device.

Alongside the integration, ChangeNOW and the CoolWallet team are co-developing a limited-edition hardware wallet for Token2049 Singapore, scheduled for Marina Bay Sands on October 7–8. The special-edition device will carry a custom design and include ChangeNOW as its sole in-app swap provider, with availability details and an interactive activity at the ChangeNOW booth to be announced closer to the event.

ChangeNOW For Business, the enterprise-focused division of ChangeNOW, supplies companies with tools to accept crypto payments, exchange digital assets, and integrate Web3 finance into their operations. The broader partnership signals continued product alignment between ChangeNOW's exchange infrastructure and CoolWallet's self-custody hardware as both companies expand their respective footprints ahead of the Singapore conference.
