Saylor's Strategy swells war chest to $3.75B, bites off $25M of its own STRC 🪙
Strategy, the software-turned-bitcoin-treasury company led by Executive Chairman Michael Saylor, grew its cash reserve to $3.75 billion after raising $544.5 million last week through sales of more than 5.4 million shares of common stock, according to an SEC filing Monday. Saylor said the $3.75 billion stash equates to 2.1 years of preferred stock dividend coverage.
The company deployed a small slice of the fresh capital to repurchase 288,930 shares of its high-yielding preferred stock STRC for $25 million. Strategy made no changes to its bitcoin holdings, which remained at 843,775 coins as of the filing.
Both MSTR and STRC traded about 2.5% higher in pre-market action, tracking a weekend move in bitcoin above $65,000. The report was filed July 27, 2026.
