Odos checks out: DEX aggregator tells users to grab their bags by July 30 🧳
Decentralized exchange aggregator Odos Protocol is winding down operations and giving users until July 30 to withdraw their assets, the team said in a Thursday X post. The Odos DAO, described as separate from the operating company, will announce its own plans, while the ODOS token will continue to exist onchain. The announcement did not include a rationale for the shutdown.
Odos Protocol's DEX aggregator volume has trended downward over the past two years, falling to $169 million in July 2026 from a peak of $7.8 billion in December 2024. The protocol generated $2.72 million in annualized revenue, according to DefiLlama data.
The closure adds to a string of recent shutdowns across the crypto sector. Derivatives exchange BitMEX announced plans to wind down operations on Thursday after 11 years in business. The closures come amid broader consolidation, with other crypto platforms and decentralized finance protocols also announcing wind-downs in recent months.
Odos did not immediately respond to requests for further comment on the decision.
