Ondo Cracks FINRA's Vault: Tokenized Stocks Hit Main Street πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ

Ondo Finance's SEC-registered broker-dealer subsidiary, Oasis Pro Markets, has secured new FINRA authorizations to offer tokenized equities and funds to U.S. investors under full SEC and FINRA oversight, the company announced on July 23, 2026. The approvals, confirmed via Ondo Finance's official X account, cover NMS equities, exchange-traded funds, mutual funds, index funds, and IPO securities, with settlements permitted in either fiat or supported stablecoins, including direct transfers between blockchain wallets.

The new framework is designed to accommodate both retail and institutional participation, spanning "hundreds of millions of Americans and tens of thousands of U.S. financial" firms, according to Ondo's announcement. A built-in omnibus structure allows existing broker-dealers and registered investment advisors to onboard without migrating to a new platform, with Oasis Pro Markets handling custody and settlement infrastructure on the back end.

Ondo Finance enters the authorization holding a leading position in real-world asset tokenization, reporting more than $20 billion in cumulative on-chain volume and roughly $1 billion in total value locked. The Oasis Pro Markets subsidiary is an SEC-registered broker-dealer following its acquisition of Oasis Pro in 2025, an arrangement that placed a regulated broker-dealer infrastructure directly under Ondo's corporate umbrella.

The tokenized products will trade under the supervision of both the SEC and FINRA, with Oasis Pro Markets operating as the regulated intermediary for issuance and distribution. Settlement flexibility extends to direct wallet-to-wallet stablecoin transfers, a feature that links traditional brokerage workflows to blockchain-native payment rails without altering the underlying regulatory perimeter.

$ONDO was trading at $0.40, down 3.14% on the day, according to the report. Ondo Finance's announcement did not specify a launch date for the newly authorized tokenized equity and fund products, though the company stated that access for U.S. investors is now officially available under the expanded FINRA framework.
