Ripple Backs Notabene, Drops RLUSD Into the $2T Cash Cab 🚕

Ripple has made a strategic investment in Notabene, the operator of the largest network for regulated on-chain transactions, the two companies said in a press release. The amount of the investment was not disclosed.

Under the agreement, Notabene will integrate Ripple's RLUSD stablecoin into Notabene Flow, its B2B stablecoin payments platform. The companies also said they will explore how trusted payment authorization can complement Ripple Payments, with a focus on pre-transaction authorization for enterprise users.

Notabene highlighted that its institutional network processes more than $2 trillion in annualized transaction volume. The company positions itself as infrastructure for regulated on-chain transactions, connecting crypto firms, banks and payment service providers under a single compliance framework.

The partnership is set to accelerate adoption of compliant stablecoin payments while creating a new standard for institutional money movement, according to the joint statement. No timeline for the RLUSD integration or the pre-transaction authorization work was provided.

By folding RLUSD into Notabene Flow, Ripple is extending the stablecoin's reach beyond its own payments stack and into a network already used by major financial counterparties. The move adds another venue for RLUSD settlement as competition among dollar-denominated stablecoins continues to intensify.
