WhiteBIT Taps AI Agents to Trade for You While You Finish Your Coffee ☕

WhiteBIT, the largest European cryptocurrency exchange by traffic, has launched AI Hub, a product that connects AI assistants such as Claude, Cursor, Codex and OpenClaw directly to users' trading accounts through plain-language commands rather than a traditional interface. The connected AI assistant places trades and manages positions using the same permissions granted to the account holder, extending beyond read-only data access or trade suggestions. The rollout comes as AI agents settled more than $73 million across 176 million transactions between May 2025 and April 2026, according to research published by crypto investment firm Keyrock, covering activity that AI systems completed autonomously without a user clicking through each transaction.

Through AI Hub, an assistant reaches WhiteBIT's live trading infrastructure spanning spot, collateral and wallet functions, and can place orders, check balances, manage positions and execute OCO (One-Cancels-the-Other), stop-limit and trigger-market orders. Any page of WhiteBIT's documentation can also be opened directly inside a connected AI assistant, with no separate setup step, and developers are able to build on WhiteBIT using the same integration.

The exchange has been expanding its footprint across European and Latin American markets, adding payment integrations and new trading pairs during 2025 as part of a broader push to broaden access to digital assets. WhiteBIT has positioned itself around compliance and licensing in jurisdictions including Italy, where it operates through a registered virtual asset service provider, and has pursued MiCA-aligned registrations in other European markets to offer euro-denominated pairs and fiat on-ramps.

AI Hub enters a market where major exchanges are racing to embed agentic workflows into retail trading, with peers experimenting with similar copilot-style integrations to handle routine tasks such as rebalancing portfolios, harvesting yield or surfacing risk alerts without manual input. Keyrock's research framed the shift as a measurable change in on-chain activity, noting that AI-driven transaction counts have grown alongside broader institutional adoption of agent-based tooling.

WhiteBIT has not disclosed specific pricing tiers or regional availability for AI Hub beyond the assistant integrations listed, and the exchange said additional assistants and feature sets will be added as the product matures, with documentation available through the company's developer portal.
