Markets go yes/no, cards go buy coffee, and 2026's crypto bets now cover both sides of the ledger
International betting brand 1win has expanded its prediction markets product with a new set of cryptocurrency-themed forecasts, adding digital asset questions to a lineup that already spans sports, politics, technology, entertainment and global events. The new markets are designed as binary "Yes" or "No" questions or clearly defined outcomes, allowing users to engage with industry narratives without navigating complex betting lines.
"Crypto-related forecasts are becoming a natural extension of prediction markets, giving users another way to engage with some of the biggest narratives in the crypto industry. Though on 1win Markets, we have made it an interactive and easy-to-understand format," said Mike Danshin, CMO 1win Crypto.
Founded in 2016 and operating across Asia, Latin America and Africa, 1win offers crypto entertainment products adapted to regional audiences. The company has partnerships with football legend Luis Suarez, martial artist Jon Jones, and Olympic champion and UFC fighter Gable Steveson, and in 2026 added rapper Tyga and UFC's Ilia Topuria to its VIP community. Suarez is set to serve as the official 1win football expert throughout the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The 1win expansion comes alongside a broader push by crypto firms to integrate digital assets into everyday financial activity, with July 2026 announcements from two other operators signaling that prediction, payments and portfolio tools are increasingly converging under single platforms.
Cryptocurrency exchange Bitunix on July 16, 2026, from Kingstown, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, launched the Bitunix Card, a Visa-powered payment solution that allows users to spend funds on everyday purchases while earning yield on idle balances, consolidating payments and earnings in a single product.
Two days earlier, on July 15, 2026, from Hamburg, Germany, SCANDIC TRADE introduced a unified platform that combines live market data, AI-assisted analysis, self-custodial trading, portfolio tools and SNC staking into a single interface.
The announcements collectively underscore how crypto-focused operators are moving beyond trading toward integrated ecosystems where market predictions, card-based spending and portfolio management coexist as user-facing features.
