Robert Kiyosaki, the author of "Rich Dad Poor Dad," has shifted his public financial advice away from specific asset recommendations toward study of a new book on systemic collapse, telling followers on X on July 7, 2026 that "The Entropy Trap" by Mickey M. Maini is the "Best most important new book for this time in history." The post, which Kiyosaki flagged as a "VIB: Very Important BOOK," frames the recommendation as preparation for a broad transfer of wealth tied to declining trust in financial institutions.

Kiyosaki wrote that the book "explains why today's Rich will become tomorrows poor" and argued that informed readers positioning in non-trust-dependent assets will become "the world's new rich." He named US bonds, ETFs and mutual funds as examples of trust-dependent instruments, citing large-scale selling, including by Japan, as evidence that the unwind is already underway. "You can see that today as large bond holders, such as Japan have already started dumping US Bonds. People who know what's going to happen and what assets to hold ….will become the world's new rich," Kiyosaki said on X.
