WaterX Predict goes live on Sui, swaps order books for swipe-right bets ahead of World Cup 🏆

WaterX Predict, a prediction market interface built on Sui, launched on July 6, 2026, replacing traditional order books with a swipe-based feed in which users tap right or left to back one side of a market and swipe up to skip to the next. The product is backed by Mysten Labs and was selected for the Sui Foundation's 2026 Moonshots Program.

The platform is positioning itself as a distribution-first alternative to existing venues such as Polymarket. Alongside the swipe interface, WaterX Predict introduces "gift links," which wrap a position into a shareable URL. Recipients open the link, log in with a Google account and claim the position, turning a market entry into a shareable object that can be passed through group chats or social feeds.

To mark the launch, WaterX is running the Predict Festival, a month-long campaign tied to the FIFA World Cup 2026. Daily predictions earn rewards that unlock at the end of the month, with the program extending beyond football into crypto and e-sports categories after the tournament concludes. The campaign is structured to keep users active on the platform past the World Cup window rather than concentrating activity around a single event.

WaterX describes itself as an AI-native trading engine on Sui covering prediction markets, perpetual contracts and tokenized real-world assets on a single personalized layer. The firm is pitching WaterX Predict specifically at Web2 users and football fans who have not engaged with on-chain markets because of their trading-terminal interfaces, framing the swipe UX and Google login claims as the on-ramp for that audience.

The launch arrives as prediction markets continue to draw volume on real-world events, with Polymarket frequently cited as the category's breakout venue. WaterX is not disclosing user numbers or trading volume at launch and has framed its edge in product design rather than in competing on liquidity or professional tooling.
