Deribit and SignalPlus Strand 35 Days of Trading on The Island for $600K USDC 🏝️

Deribit by Coinbase, operating through its broker-dealer DRB Panama Inc., and crypto derivatives infrastructure provider SignalPlus have launched The Island, their fifth and largest joint trading competition, offering up to $600,000 USDC in prizes across solo and team formats. The 35-day campaign opens registration on June 29 at 08:00 UTC and runs from July 6 at 08:00 UTC through August 10 at 23:59 UTC, with all trading executed through SignalPlus on Deribit. Standings are calculated using eligible options and futures volume, with options weighted 1.0 and futures weighted 0.5, and the campaign is not targeted at or intended for residents of Dubai, UAE. The competition is organized around eleven core arenas covering weekly volume rankings, daily reward loops, team participation, referral-based expansion, whale and block-trade incentives, and dynamic ecosystem progression, alongside several new mechanics. These include the Mystery Box deposit experience, a weekly P&L leaderboard, short-dated options reward multipliers, and the Flash Arena, in which higher short-dated options volume unlocks additional jackpot entries and reward opportunities. The campaign is run by DRB Panama Inc., and virtual assets are subject to extreme market volatility, involve a high degree of risk, and can lose value in part or in full.

Beyond the headline Private Island jackpot, the prize pool includes a Rolex Watch, Apple Vision Pro, NVIDIA stock, a luxury Turkey trip, Ledger Stax, Gentle Monster sunglasses, a Razer keyboard, SOL spot rewards, trading fee coupons, and daily USDC prize pools.
